AI Is Getting A BodyAn evening for people building AI that acts in the real world. Most of us work with AI that lives in a chat window. But the most exciting shift happening right now is AI stepping out of the browser: robots that learn from video, machines that understand what they see, models that predict how the physical world behaves. Romania has people working on all of this, in robotics startups, automotive perception teams, research labs and side projects, and until now they had no room to meet in.This is that room. We'll start gathering from 18:00, with talks beginning at 18:30.Agenda18:00–18:30: Arrival & networking
18:30–18:40: Welcome & introduction - Georgia Bucea, founder of Physical AI Bucharest
18:40–19:05: Do robots need human hands? - David-Alexandru Popescu, Origin BCI
19:05–19:30: Talk #2 — speaker announcement coming soon
19:30–19:55: Talk #3 — speaker announcement coming soon
19:55–20:00: What's next for the community
20:00–21:30: NetworkingThe full lineup will be announced over the coming weeks, follow the event page for updates. If you're working on something in physical AI, robotics or perception and would like to speak at a future edition, come talk to us at the event or reach out directly. This is a recurring monthly series, and the speaker queue is now open. There will be no marketing or sales slides, just engineers talking to engineers about machines that see, understand and act. This event is an initiative of Physical AI Bucharest, hosted at Builders House. The evening will be hosted by Georgia Bucea, ML engineer, CTO at Shorts AI and founder of Physical AI Bucharest, who will guide the talks and discussions. This is the first event in a monthly Physical AI Bucharest series.
